At The Swanborough Community, we provide specialist residential rehabilitation and care for adults living with an acquired brain injury.
Nationally renowned for delivering outstanding person-centred rehabilitation, The Swanborough Community is part of the multi-award-winning Integrum Care Group, led by award-winning care leader Adrian Pancott, whose vision and leadership have helped establish a reputation for excellence, innovation and sustainable growth. The Swanborough Community was also awarded Silver for Team of the Year at the 2026 Healthcare Eagles Awards, recognising the dedication, expertise and compassion of our team.
Swanborough House is located in a peaceful residential area of Brighton and is led by Daisy, who has managed the home since 2015 and has been at the heart of the Swanborough community for more than 20 years. Her consistent leadership, expertise and commitment to residents, families and staff have helped shape the warm, supportive culture that defines the home today. Under her leadership, the home has achieved a Good rating across all areas inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), reflecting our commitment to delivering safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led support.
The home is further supported by Patricia Brown, Director of Quality, Regulation & Estates Compliance for Integrum Care Group, whose extensive experience in dementia care, clinical governance, safeguarding and regulatory compliance helps ensure the highest standards of care, safety and quality across our services.
Our dedicated rehabilitation team supports adults living with a wide range of brain injuries and associated conditions, delivering personalised care tailored to each individual’s needs. Whether supporting everyday activities, working towards rehabilitation goals or maximising independence, our focus is always on helping people achieve the best possible outcomes. We work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, as well as art and music therapists, to ensure care remains holistic, progressive and responsive.
At The Swanborough Community, we believe meaningful activity plays a vital role in recovery and wellbeing. Our dedicated activities coordinators deliver a varied programme designed to inspire creativity, encourage social connection, build confidence and support the development of new skills and interests.
Purpose-designed to feel like home, our community features 35 en-suite bedrooms and two self-contained flats that support more independent living. Residents also benefit from dedicated therapy rooms, welcoming communal spaces and tranquil gardens, creating an environment that balances privacy, independence and social engagement.
We help individuals regain confidence in everyday life, establish meaningful routines, build relationships and rediscover their sense of identity. Family involvement is welcomed and encouraged throughout each person’s rehabilitation journey, helping to create a truly supportive community.
Located close to local amenities, green spaces and healthcare services, The Swanborough Community is easily accessible by public transport and within easy reach of Brighton city centre. Free on-site parking is also available for visitors.
